Lost and Found

I've noticed on my favorite blogs lately that everyone seems to be taking (or has just taken) a break from posting. Their stated reasons for doing so are varied. Everybody always has stuff going on in their lives, but up until now, bloggers managed to find time to squeak out a few entries. I don't think that it's a coincidence that more than a few people seem to be having trouble doing this.

We can all list the circumstances in our lives that make us stressed out. A few of these are constant and others evolve. I think the reason behind all the non-posting is this: we're tired. It's that weird time of year. Christmas was a while ago now, and spring isn't quite here (although us New Englanders were completely teased with it last week). More people seem to be getting sick with the same kind of flu, and more people are starting to feel desperate about their situations.

Or maybe it's just me. I'll choose to hope I'm not the only one.

This is such a hard time of year - especially for those of us that are really affected by changes (or non-changes) in the weather. We're sick and tired. When we do manage to find some free time, we opt for sleep or couch vegetation over creative thinking and writing.

I actually was going to post about something different. I'll have to go change the title now. This all just occurred to me as I started writing, and I thought it might be better to explain my absence lately. The focus has changed lately, but I'm sure it will change again soon.

Comments:
You need to have Girls Night to get all this off your chest! I have a lot to talk about too!

PS I deleted Friends so you should take it off your links. Sorry.

Change can be really hard.

But I like the change into summer, since I hate the rainy fall/winter/spring that we get here in Seattle.
