I've Been My Own Pet Peeve

I suppose I can't get annoyed at my favorite bloggers who are posting less often these days, as I haven't posted in several weeks. But I swear I've been thinking about it. And you, my very few readers.

Let's just say for now that the Baby B-being-sick-situation didn't only not get better right away, but got worse for a little while. The situation is much better now and (again, I swear) details will come soon. Typing one-handed is still not fun.

I do have much to say about several different things. Here's a preview in somewhat chronological order of my thinking about them: flu, emergency room visits, dehydration, scary parenting things that nobody tells you about, popsicles, Tequila (the song, although I'm wishing otherwise right now), breastfeeding, cats with strange fur, what I've been doing in the car lately (get your mind out of the gutter), rolling on the floor, being a musician, my Mozart conflict, and women's fashion.

It has been an interesting month!

"Clean Up in Aisle 4"

Grocery store. Shopping cart. Fruits and vegetables. Piannist. Baby B. Desperate need for food in the house.

Baby B seat-buckled in cart. Projectile vomiting. No warning. Dirty cart. Dirty fruits and vegetables. Messy Baby B. Messy Piannist. Messy floor.Tricky seat belt. Crying Baby B. Piannist scared for Baby B. Embarrassing request for clean-up. Sprint to car. Fast drive home.

Eight hours later. Not gotten better. Lots of cuddling. Three baths since. None yet for Piannist. Long night ahead. Much one-handed typing. Here we go again.

Wish us luck. Miss blogging lots.
